Hat jmd eine schöne Alternative mit Abfahrt am Vormittag in Lviv
Take any train from Lviv to Ivano-Frankivsk and continue by marshrutka I-F - Kolomyia and Kolomyia - Chernivtsi.
It's optimal way for case if direct train is not available. On sections Lviv - I-F - any long-distance train (except the slowest 605/606) will be significantly faster than any bus or marshrutka, so overcoming this section necessarily by long-distance train makes sense. While on sections I-F - Kolomyia and Kolomyia - Chernivtsi - most of long-distance train (except the fastest 701/702) will be not faster than marshrutka. From kinda 7 am till ~18:30 - operation of marshrutkas on sections I-F - Kolomyia and Kolomyia - Chernivtsi is frequent (kinda each 15 min), so you may come and go even without knowing timetable. While after 18:30 frequent operation ends, there will be only few departures till end of day and knowing the departure hour is essential. In case if terminus of bus at Chernivtsi is main bus station - take into account, that buses makes huge detour within city (passing via 2 or 3 different bus station), so arrival to main bus station will be half-hour later than arrival to first of bus stations within city, in this case it makes sense don't continue to terminus, but exit on first stop in Chernivtsi and continue to city center by urban transport.

Von welchem Busbahnhof in Chisinau fahren die Busse nach Odessa ab, wie häufig etwa und wie erkenne ich die Busse, die Transnistrien meiden?
Buses Chisinau - Odessa via Transnistria usually operate only in high season. In low season - for example now - the quantity of buses between Chisinau and Odessa dramatically decrease and all remaining buses Chisinau - Odessa go via Palanca.
But is some of the previous years one bus via Transnstria remained even for Winter. Usually buses Chiainau - Odessa via Transnistria departed from main bus station (near central market) while they'd operated, while buses Odessa - Chiainau via Palanca - depart from Northern bus station (Gara de Nord).
Also you may re-check on websites. Departures from main bus station can be checked on autogara.md, while departures from Gara de Nord are covered by this website only partially (only few departures sporadically appear in their system), for departures from Gara de Nord there is separate website [
garanord.md]
Autogara.md allows to see intermediate stop list, so all is easy. Garanord.md is more stupid website, it don't show list of intermediate stop, it's stupid, but you can make parallel request to intermediate stop which obviously point the way which bus take - for examle Causeni and juxpose with departure hour/destination with results of search to Odessa.
Regarding problem of exit stamp.
Since recent time this problem on direction Chisinau - Odessa almost disappeared.
Even in the past it was possible to pre-legalize further exit from Moldova via Transnistria and get exit stamp of Moldova. It was possbile by visiting Registru office, which was time consuming so probably nobody did it.
Now all is easier.
If you go by bus - but it works now only on direction Chisinau - Odessa - you can get exit stamp of Moldova at road checkpoint Kuchurgan (i.e. on Ukrainian side). This checkpoint was re-built and now there are both Ukrainian and Moldovan border guards and custom officers. I.e. one of border guards here will be from Moldova and he can put entry/exit stamps when request. Unfortunately such possibility appeared only here, there is no such possibility in other checkpoints.
With train situation is less good, but still quite easy - they'd opened Registru office at Chisinau train station, don't know how it works, but I believe you don't even need to search them, I hope they will wait for your near the train I think, so you can legalize your exit and get your exit stamp at Chisinau train station.
But previous posters was not completely correct about checking by Transnistrians. Yes it's true, they don't bother passenger of train Chisinau - Odessa, if you go by tain - you don't meet them. But with buses it's other story, if you go by road - it's checked twice with filling transnistrian Immigration forms on entry and then on exit. Now there is no issues, all stories with bribes left in the past, but this two additional long stops of border formalities are time consuming, so total travel time from Chisinau to Odessa via Transnistria will be more time consuming despite distance here is smaller.
So if schedule of train Chisinau - Odessa will suit you - no reasons to avoid it, in case of going by train - no reasons to avoid going via Transnistria. While in case if train don't suit you by schedule or by day of operation - bus via Transnistria is not a good choice, better choose bus via Palanca, thankfully it's the majority of buses now.
