B. 0-100 % 15 Sekunden dauert, würde dann 0-50 % 7,5 Sekunden dauern?

ORIGINAL TEXT:
First of all, thank you so much to everyone that responded to my previous threads. I really appreciate all the help!

I am trying to implement an AFB-holding brake for the BR146 and BR185 in a train simulator. I have access to the instruction manual for the BR185.1 but not for the BR146.

In the manual it states that if AFB is enabled but the AFB Vsoll is below 5 km/h *or* tractive effort is below 10 kN when the locomotive is standing still the direct brake will not release.

It also states that if the locomotive is rolling (with tractive effort below 10 kN I presume) and speed falls below 0.5 km/h the direct brake applies.

1. My first question is if the tractive effort value of 10 kN is total or per FM?

2. I was told by a Dutch train driver of the BR186 that on their locomotives the train brake will apply below 2 km/h and then release when the train has stopped after which the direct brake is applied. Does the AFB-holding brake ever apply train brake on the BR185, or the BR146 (if so which)?

3. Is the speed at which AFB-holding brake applies different on the BR146 compared to the BR185? Or perhaps the tractive effort value at which the AFB-holding brake releases?

4. On the NL BR186 with AFB enabled the tractive effort will increase (when commanded by the train driver) to 50 kN (total) and then hold there for a few seconds until the AFB-holding brake has released. After this time the tractive effort increases further. Does the BR185 or BR146 have a similar behavior?

5. Extra questions: I have noticed that the tractive effort and E-brake applies quite slowly on these types of locomotives. In one video I saw that it took 15 seconds for tractive effort to reach a maximum (75 kN/FM). Is this time (or rate of change) constant or will it be lower if you only increase the throttle a bit? For example, if 0-100% takes 15 seconds, would 0-50% take 7.5 seconds?

6. What about E-brake? Does it increase as slowly as tractive effort when commanded by the train driver?

7. Right now I have programmed tractive effort to increase at 5 kN/FM per second (0-100% in 15 seconds) but decrease much faster (100-0% in 2 seconds)
I have also programmed the E-brake force to increase slowly (0-150 kN in 15 seconds) but I was told by a train driver that releasing the E-brake is slower than reducing tractive effort so I programmed the E-brake force to decrease equally slow (150 - 0 kN in 15 seconds).
Is this realistic or unrealistic? Is the "rate of change" constant or variable?

/William
